De Mineralization Plant
Demineralisation is the process of removing mineral salts from water by using the ion exchange process. With most natural water sources it is possible to use Demineralisation and produce water of a higher quality than conventional distillation & these plants have a simple structure, are easy to operate, and the design is corrosion-resistant and compact.
Mita Aqua manufacture a wide range of Demineralizer, which have an application in the commercial and industrial sectors wherever there is a requirement for the water of high purity level. The Demineralizers are available in manual, semi automatic and automatic models. The construction of vessel is PVC, MSRL or FRP. Demineralizers provide pure water of conductivity < 10 microsemens / cm provided the feed water is free from iron, turbidity, chlorine, oil and grease. Our range of Demineralizers incorporates the proven counter flow technique of regeneration, which produces water of high purity. The water is made to pass through a bed of Cation Exchange Resin, which is in hydrogen form. All dissolved solids causing hardness such as Ca, Mg etc. are exchanged with H+ and are converted into respective acids. The acidic effluent is then passed into the Anion bed, which is in hydroxyl (OH) form, which retains bi-carbonate, Sulphate ions, producing water equivalent to distilled water.
